Discover Barcelona, Montserrat, Girona or Tarragona with me. Tailor made tours are also possible.

My tours last approximately 3.5 hours and during them, I offer you a nice cocktail of Sightseeing, History, Art History, Traditions, Gastronomy and entertainment.

If you prefer a longer tour, it would be a pleasure to organise it. Just let me know!
Normally, along the tours, we can stop at a nice Café or bakery to discover our typical products.
We can either take taxis or walk around the city (if the distances are not too long) or if you wish so, we can experience our public transportation system. In case you want to hire a car (with a driver) or a small bus, just mention it. I have the best contacts and I would organise it for you.
Even if it is a transfer from/to the airport or port.

The Old City

The Gothic Quarter and the Raval are waiting for us. We will see the Roman Wall, the Gothic Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter, the famous Rambla as well as the Boqueria Market.
We will also have the chance to discover the narrow streets and the beautiful squares around.

Gaudí

The Catalan architect has many buildings in Barcelona and most of them have been declared World Heritage Sites of UNESCO because of the uniqueness. During our tours, we might be able to visit 2 of them. You should choose among: Park Güell, Casa Vicens, Casa Milà or La Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Sagrada Família or Palau Güell.

Old City and Gaudí

This tour offers you the possibility to combine both experiences. Normally it would be a stroll of about an hour and a half through the Old City and then, we could visit one of the buildings by Antoni Gaudí mentioned above.
This is the perfect tour if you don’t have much time in the city.

Domènech i Montaner

The architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner was the founder of the Art Nouveau movement in Catalonia and he was Antoni Gaudí’s teacher at the University and they became very good friends. Two of his most breathtaking buildings in Barcelona are the former Saint Pauls’ Hospital and the Palau de la Música (a music hall), by the way, both were declared World Heritage of UNESCO in 1997. In the city there is another remarkable building by him to be seen from the outside, since it is not open to public.

Picasso’s Barcelona and the Picasso Museum

The famous artist Pablo Picasso lived ten years long in Barcelona and he had such a nice time in the city that he decided to open his very first museum here in 1963.
We will visit the areas he used to walk through in the Old City, as well as were some of his workshops and then we will visit the museum about an hour and a half long. I am sure that you will be amazed to discover his formative period works. You would never guess they are real Picassos!

Art Nouveau in Barcelona

At the end of the 19th century Barcelona was expanding through a new area called the Eixample (a Catalan word that means extension). The owners of the factories decided to invest in their building by choosing themselves the architects. Depending on the budget, the architect was able to design them a unique building.
We will see many of these remarkable façades as well as foyers and we will have the chance to enjoy a short break in a historical Cafeteria.

The fanciest street in Barcelona

The boulevard Passeig de Gràcia is one of the most, if not the most, beautiful streets in Barcelona.
The façades, the street lamps, the shops and some of the cafeterias and restaurants remind us of its wealth.
This tour includes a tour inside one of three most famous buildings: Casa Amatller, Casa Batlló or Casa Milà.

Olympia city and/or Football Club Barcelona (Barça) Stadium

FCB was founded in 1899 and since then, people from all over the world has become fun of this club. Nowadays it is the club with the biggest amount of online fans in the world. Within this tour we could visit the FCB stadium and we could also visit the Olympic stadium as well as all the Olympic area that was build for the Olympic Games in 1992.

Montserrat
The sanctuary of Montserrat has more than 2 million visitors every year because of its spiritual value but also because of its natural environment.
It lays about an hour away from Barcelona by car or if you wish to go there by public transportation system we would need 1.5 hours to reach it. We would take a train and zip train or a cable car. As you wish.
In the sanctuary, we will see the Black Madonna who is the patron saint of all Catalans. We call her “The Moreneta”.
Montserrat is a great place that merges spirituality, culture and nature.
Tarragona

The Romans founded Tarraco 2000 years ago and it became the capital of the Roman Empire while the Roman emperor lived here.
Luckily the Roman walls, the Amphitheatre and other parts of the Roman buildings have been preserved and the whole ensemble has been declared a World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
The Old City and its narrow streets, its Romanesque-Gothic Cathedral as well as the breathtaking views will amaze you.
We could enjoy a short break or a lunch on the Rambla or on beautiful square.
Tarragona is one hour south of Barcelona and it can be reached by train or we could hire a car (with a driver).

Girona
When you walk through the Old City of Girona you feel like you are travelling 500 years back in time. The medieval streets and buildings have been very well preserved and the Jewish Museum offers us a quick overview about the importance of Girona in the Middle Ages.
The rivers, the bridges, the colourful façades, the medieval Cathedral as well as the City walls will make it possible to you to fall in love in Girona.
It lays one hour north from Barcelona and we can reach it by train or by car if we rent a car (with a driver).
By the way, 8 Chapters of the 6th season of Game of Thrones were shot in Girona!
